  • Ald. Proco Joe Moreno (1) is looking to shut down Esso Nightclub in Wicker Park, the site of a deadly shooting over the weekend.
  • Ald. Sophia King (4) filed over 6,000 petition signatures and “secured our spot on the ballot for February! Thank you so much for all you have done in support of my election to continue serving as your 4th Ward Alderman.”
  • Ald. Michelle Harris (8) is hosting a town hall meeting November 30. 
  • Ald. Susan Sadlowski Garza (10) thanked CDOT for their work on the 92nd St. Bridge: “On time ,under budget,no injuries,all in house work and after 800 Bridge lifts during the course of the repair it looks amazing. “
  • Ald. Raymond Lopez (15) hosted a well-attended CPS Vision meeting with Chief Education Office Janice Jackson.
  • We wish a speedy recovery to Ald. Howard Brookins (21), suffering from “a broken nose, a fractured skull and five or six teeth that were knocked out” in a biking accident on the Cal-Sag trail, thanks to what the Trib characterized as a vengeful “kamikaze” squirrel. “Always try to find the humor in tough circumstances,” Brookins wrote on Facebook.

  • Ald. Marge Laurino (39) was in the Cupich elevation delegation in Rome: “Archbishop Cupich has been a guiding force in Chicago for more than two years, leading by example through his actions and words,” she said. “As a graduate of Catholic schools and a longtime parishioner of Queen of All Saints Basilica, this ceremony is very meaningful to me. I am honored to be included in the Chicago delegation to Rome.” Ald. Pat O’Connor (40) has pictures too

  • Ald. James Cappleman (46) says in the last few days, “both the 19th & 20th Police Districts arrested 35 individuals for selling illegal drugs in the Uptown area. I want to thank our police officers for their great work done to address this type of illegal activity.”
