  • Ald. Anthony Beale (9) has pics from the ribbon cutting for the new Community Triage Center in Roseland. 
  • Ald. Susan Sadlowski-Garza (10) shared info for the opening of Big Marsh Park this weekend. “Join us to hike and explore the new park, observe the ecology and wildlife, and ride the newly completed bike park!”
  • Ald. David Moore (17) shared a press release from the Progressive Caucus on their new proposed “Back to Basics” TIF ordinance. 
  • Ald. Deb Mell (33) wants to pilot a floating bike trail in her ward. 
  • Ald. Gilbert Villegas (36) announced the winners of his ward’s participatory budgeting process. 
  • Ald. Pat O’Connor (40) has another update on the former Trumbull Elementary site: “It has since come to my attention that the Board of Education will need to  vote on whether to add a non-charter private school as a potential use… Svigos will likely not close on the property until sometime after the December 7th Board of Education meeting.”

  • Ald. James Cappleman (46) updated subscribers on two shootings in the ward, and new manpower: of the 103 new officers that have graduated from the last 2 Academy classes, 7 of them have been assigned to the 46th Ward. CPD is in the process of finalizing a new formula for police deployment throughout the City.
