For someone facing an election in 62 days, Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza did something very unusual Wednesday during her luncheon speech at the City Club of Chicago.

“We need to find a worthy successor to Mayor Emanuel,” Mendoza said. “Anybody have any ideas?” [City Club of Chicago]
