Cubs given special approval to hold night games on Fridays and Saturdays this year

The city’s Committee on License and Consumer Protection approved Friday and Saturday night games at Wrigley Field this season.

Night games at Wrigley Field will be allowed on Fridays and Saturdays this year due to approval granted Thursday by the City Council Committee on License and Consumer Protection.
