Tom Tunney (44) said he will delay introducing more than 200 proposed edits to the Chicago Construction Code following accusations from Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s two most persistent City Council critics that the mayor intentionally tucked substantive changes into what her administration billed as “technical corrections.”
