The Daily Line is pleased to announce its next event, an hour-long discussion with Chicago Commissioner of Planning and Development, David Reifman. A native Chicagoan, Reifman is responsible for leading the department’s Housing, Economic Development, and Planning & Zoning bureaus while fostering community-improvement projects and initiatives throughout the city. As Commissioner, he serves on the Chicago Plan Commission, Community Development Commission, and Commission on Chicago Landmarks, among other public agencies. He is also chairman of the board of the Chicago Development Fund. In 2016, Chicago Magazine named him one of Chicago’s 50 most powerful people.

The discussion will focus on current and future city land use policy, including Planned Manufacturing Districts and the progress of the city’s new density bonus program. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions during the hour-long discussion.

Moderated by Daily Line Publisher Mike Fourcher, the panel discussion will be recorded and will include a live broadcast on WGN Radio.
