Meanwhile, the Chicago Teachers Union’s House of Delegates tossed the union’s considerable weight behind Toni Preckwinkle in the mayor’s race and Melissa Conyears-Ervin in the treasurer’s race, along with 19 aldermanic hopefuls, on Wednesday.
