The Chicago Board of Elections reports 89,646 Early Voting ballots cast so far, breaking the previous record for a Presidential Primary of 81,690 in 2008. Early voting and vote by mail ballots also break down thus far as 90.47% Democratic, 9.45% Republican, 0.07% Green and 0.01% Referendum Only. In 2008, the percentages were 93% Democratic, 6% Republican, and 1% other.
